With option #1 we will replace the failed discrete GPU on your 2011 15″ A1286 MacBook Pro.
(In this service we use a BRAND NEW GPU graphics chipset which will solve all your graphics/video issues)
You must have an original un-repaired Logic Board, meaning it’s never been repaired before & you confirmed that the discrete GPU has failed
. You must have a qualified unit for this option. With solution/option #1 your MacBook will work like it did before it failed & have full functionality.
Solution/Option #2
With option #2 we will BYPASS the failed discrete GPU on your 2011 15″ A1286 MacBook Pro.
(In this service we use a special engineered chip to solder on your BIOS chip and two orange wires. What it does is BYPASSES the discrete GPU graphics chipset permanently which will solve all your graphics/video issues)
This options works for original un-repaired Logic Boards with failed discrete GPU AND it
works with
Logic
Boards that have been previously worked on and your GPU has failed again.
The BYPASS only fixes discrete GPU issues.

If you don’t know the condition of your Logic Board but at least know you have a discrete GPU failure and are fine with the pro’s & con’s of solution/option #2 then your also welcome to go ahead and purchase to get the service started. If you really want the MacBook fixed with option #1 and option #2 won’t work for you then we can help you identify the status of your Logic Board if you do not know however we will need a high resolution photo of the Logic Board. No need to uninstall it, just simply take the bottom panel off and take a photo showing the Logic Board. Message us via eBay message once you have the photo ready.

Message us the serial # from the bottom of the MacBook for our records & which solution/option you want either #1 or #2 after purchasing the listing.
Package the MacBook with plenty of protection for shipping and then purchase postage to send to the address provided in eBay message. Then message us the tracking # so we can look out for it.
As soon as we receive your shipment we will verify it’s qualified for repair, meaning you followed our listing and followed instructions.
If it is
eligible
we will get the Logic Board GPU chipset replaced or bypassed and tested within 1-3 business days and on its way back to you.
We will clean your MacBook inside and out and test the rest of the components to make sure they are working properly. If they are not we will tell you what else is wrong and help to get them resolved.
Return Expedited Shipping is included in the price of this listing. We use USPS Priority & FedEx Ground. If you have a preference please message us otherwise we default to using FedEx Ground. We will message you with a return tracking # as soon as we ship.
